Trackwell FiMS is set to participate in the 14th Icelandic Fisheries, Seafood & Aqua Exhibition (IceFish), hosted at Smárinn/Fífan halls in Kópavogur. Celebrating its 40th year, the event continues to be an essential forum for presenting the latest developments in the commercial fishing and seafood industry since 1984.
The exhibition provides an opportunity for industry leaders to explore pivotal technologies for the future of fisheries and aquaculture, with a focus on efficiency and sustainability. Trackwell FiMS will demonstrate a comprehensive suite of fisheries management solutions designed for real-time impact and compliance with international standards:
- VMS (Vessel Monitoring System): Provides robust real-time tracking of maritime vessels.
- ERS (Electronic Reporting System): Facilitates efficient management and submission of fishing activity data.
- eLOG (Electronic Logbook): Enables accurate on-board catch registration.
- FLUX Engine: Translates and standardizes data into the FLUX (Fisheries Language for Universal Exchange) format, ensuring adherence to international regulations.
Trackwell FiMS utilizes advanced data analysis capabilities to enhance operational efficiency and support critical areas such as safety at sea, enforcement of laws and quotas, detection of illegal activities, and fisheries research.
Þorvarður Kjerulf of Trackwell FiMS expressed enthusiasm about the event: “We are eager to engage with industry professionals at IceFish 2024 to demonstrate how our technology addresses real-world fisheries management challenges. Our goal is to provide practical and effective solutions that integrate smoothly into existing operations.”
Attendees are encouraged to visit Trackwell FiMS at Booth P24 to experience firsthand how these technologies operate and to discuss potential integration into their activities. The Trackwell team will be available for demonstrations and to field questions throughout the exhibition.
